Being Female
12th April 2024
Speaking for myself (and I assume many ladies around my age and generation), I was raised by a very conservative mother who really tried extremely hard to instil in me, the values and virtues of being a well brought up young lady and being prim and proper.
So much so, that any body parts under cover were never talked about or discussed.
It was a time where female (or even male) related issues or problems were discussed under hushed voices and the anatomy only heard as swear words spoken in moments of hurling vulgarities during fights and quarrels.
But times have changed and we have become a more open and hopefully, genteel society, where we can now be more open to share our personal health issues and discuss specific body parts without shame or blushing.
But whatever it is, discuss we must so that we can take better control of our overall health. No one should have to suffer in silence or ignorance.
For a start, I wonder how many of us women know, how critically important our female hormones are for our good health and that an imbalance can lead to terrible chronic diseases and unpleasant conditions like PMS, chronic fatigue, osteoporosis, arthritis, depression, mood swings, bad skin and even cancers? Recently, I was reminded of even vaginal atrophy! - are you like omg what’s that? And I haven’t even started on ageing and wrinkles yet.
Is there anything we can do to keep our hormones on an even keel during our fertile years and even past menopause? Are HRTs even necessary?
Come and learn how we can easily help ourselves.
So I am reaching out to my female customers here (men can ask their wives, girlfriends or daughters above 18) to attend my seminar on Women’s Health.
Where we will take a deep dive into the teaching on what hormones are and how they change and impact various parts of our lives in our life’s journey.
In my seminar, I will also be covering other common female ailments like UTI and thrush and how to prevent and treat them through natural remedies. Just FYI do you know that UTI is one of the 10 leading cause of death in Singapore? And a lot of women suffer in silence from unbearable itch in their private parts? They really don’t have to suffer if they can just make a few simple lifestyle changes.
Included in the seminar will also be proactive measures we can take to highly reduce risks of female related cancers ie breast, ovary, womb and cervix.
And of course, we will have the usual lively Q&A session.
One of my life’s mission and mantra is to empower myself (and others) with the knowledge and get wisdom on what precautions I can take to prevent sickness and diseases, that I never want to get. But if I do, then I would also have had the roadmap done already on next course of the journey I will be taking.
Don’t wait to find the toilet when you need it. Locate it first always and map it in your head.
As you know, I will be conducting a Women’s Health Seminar this Saturday 13/4.
It’s full - house already but I can do a repeat session next Wednesday 17/4, 11am to 2pm. So if you can make it for next Wednesday, please let me know and bring a friend or two. Try your best to come for the in-person lectures. You will never regret it.
Btw it’s a free seminar for friends and EB customers. Plus lunch is even included. How more wonderful can it be?
Just so you know, I was very compelled to do this series of Women’s Health talks after learning of several girlfriends who had really serious UTI infection that landed them in the emergency department, seeing the increase in incidences of breasts and womb cancers, as well as getting a lot of enquiries from EB customers on female hormone related issues. So please attend if you can so that you may also share good knowledge with ladies in your circle of friends, who may be seeking help too.
Do let me know if you would like to attend the Wednesday lunch talk.
Kindly note that this particular women’s health talk is for ladies only.
Kind regards,
Rosemary
PS. My seminars are not open to the public at the moment. So all attendees need to be EB customers or someone known or related to an EB customer. They remain exclusive EB events.
